My friend is planning a couple’s shower for her sister soon. It is something which is a new idea to me. Obviously, I have heard of it and have been to a bridal shower but to throw a party for the couple seems rather different and modern. She explained to me that the couple are both rather shy and she thought that they would enjoy things a lot more if they were together because their close bond makes them feel safer and happier in that sort of situation. I asked why she was doing a party at all if they were so shy and she said that she did not want them to miss out and knew that they would enjoy it in the end. She has been having trouble finding couples shower invitations and all of the normal wedding shower invitations are too girly to work for a couple. I have been on lots of websites which sell invitations in order to help her and have found some which have suitable things and so she is going to order something from one of them. I just hope the rest of the party is easier for her to organise than this part has been.
